
With the National Access to Justice Partnership now in effect, National Legal Aid (NLA) is proud to announce the launch of our 5-year strategic plan.
To commemorate the launch, we will be hosting an online forum, Towards 2030.
The forum will be on Tuesday 12 August from 4pm - 5pm AEST.
Towards 2030 will give an overview of NLA’s strategic priorities and our plan to implement them. Attendees will be able to hear from leaders in the areas of:
- First Nations service delivery from Kimberley Hamer, Director, Aboriginal Services at Legal Aid NSW
- Family Law from Nicky Davies, CEO of Legal Aid Queensland and Chair of the national Family Law working group, and
- Civil Law from Toby Hemming, CEO of Victoria Legal Aid and Chair of the national Civil Law working group
As well as addresses from:
- Katherine McKernan, Executive Director, National Legal Aid will speak to the strategic priorities for the next five years, and
- The Hon Michelle Rowland MP, Commonwealth Attorney-General will send a message via pre-recorded video
