Who are we?
The Royal Commission Legal Assistance Service (RCLAS) provides free, confidential legal support to people who want to engage with the Royal Commission into Antisemitism and Social Cohesion (Royal Commission).
We are an independent legal service that is separate to the Royal Commission.
What do we do?
We have staff across Australia who give legal advice, legal information and referrals in a culturally appropriate and trauma informed way.
We can provide free and confidential legal advice about
Engaging with the Royal Commission, including making submissions
Your legal rights when sharing information with the Royal Commission
Your legal protections available when sharing information with the Royal Commission
We can talk to you about how you can

We can connect you to other services that can support you
We can connect you with other services such as counselling and other legal or non-legal support to help you engage with the Royal Commission.
We can also connect you with other legal services to help you resolve any other legal issues you may have.
